The donkey's that took us up the biggest hill in Fira...Our first island we went to was Santorini! Such a gorgeous spot to visit. We spent three nights at the top of the island in Fira and another three nights towards the South of the island in Perissa.
We mostly hired our little scooters and cruised the island looking for swimming spots.... otherwise we were riding donkeys up the hill.
We never saw a cloud on the island, and was in the mid-thirties every day... a bit cooler than Athens... but still pretty damn hot! Definitely needed that sun-block to keep us from going beetroot.....

lovely place for a holiday any time of the year. Lovely blue water despite all those people in europe peeing in the med.
water in the uk looks decidedly non swimming at the mo'. good time to go greek.
