Windsor Castle

Eton College

What a lovely day! We caught the train from Waterloo out to Windsor and Eton Riverside for the day to visit the Queen. Walked around Windsor Castle, had lunch on the Thames and then walked through the town and all the lovely English shops that go with it. It was the first day of summer we have had this year. A high of 20 degrees and even blue sky. Oh yeah!

This shot nearly cost Simon his camera! These hustlers are as dodgy as the dodgiest *** which is why they don't want any one taking photos. Oh, but Simon doesn't care...

Ummm finally we actually tried the rotisserie chicken - a whole one at that!
We had two days in Paris after Reims to do the things we have never done before. I love Paris!

Champagne Region (Reims)

This red little beauty was shining through our Hotel room window in the evening. Mumm champagne house

Ummm, the best bit - tasting the champagne :-)

Veuve Cliquot baby!

We caught the fast train (TGV) from Paris over to Reims for a few nights to taste all of that beautiful bubbly stuff! Reims itself wasn't as "countryside" as I'd imagined, but very nice to have the French flavour in a small boutique city. We managed to get tours of Mumm, Pommery and Veuve Cliquot while we were there... all good!!!
