Bath

We have found another city we could live in. Beautiful English city that is very different to London.

Our first stop in Bath was Bath Abbey. Amazing sense of history... very old!

The Roman Baths were intreiging... hard to understand how thousands of people literally bathed here, but is quite amazing when you believe it. There were about as many tourists here today as there would have been bathers in the Roman times!!!

Stonehenge

Stonehenge is also completely random. It is situated between two main highways. It wouldn't be so amazing if you didn't know the story, but when you hear about Stonehenge and how they believe the stones were transported here, it is amazing! The common thing to do was to listen to the audio guides which described everything we needed to know. Was actually really good to hear their conclusions that they have come to about the age, reasons and how Stonehenge became...

Heading to the country...

We hired a dodgey car from Avis and our main man Simon drove us to
South West England. Had no troubles driving out, and were lucky with traffic even though it was a bank holiday weekend. Stayed in a country hotel in Swindon... Now for those of you who don't know where Swindon is, I wouldn't even bother finding out. It is a shocker!!! So... Tommy, Rowan, Simon and I ended up having late nights drinking in our hotel and spending our days else where.

Was really nice having a car and just driving through every day towns and looking at the english style houses and pubs. The pig farm was completely random, so we thought we had better take a photo!

Summer is coming!

Summer is finally on it's way for us in London! We had a brilliant 27 degree day last week... looking forward to more of that :) This was a lazy Sunday afternoon in St. James Park right next to Buckingham Palace.

Biking into the countryside of Holland...

By far the best thing we did while in Amsterdam! Hiring a bike for 9 Euro each for the whole day was just sensational. Decided we wanted to find the windmills in the country, so we just headed north. Considering we did not really know where we were going, couldn't read the signs and people don't talk too much english... we did pretty well. Saw lots of beautiful country side and even stopped off for a beer at one of the locals.

Sex, drugs & rock 'n roll in Amsterdam

Would like to put more shocking photos on the blog, but we have to accomodate for all audiences here! Sex is everywhere in Amsterdam... not a place you want to take your granny. Women are literally selling their bodies behind windows down every alley in Amsterdam. Small ones, large ones, old, young, all colors.... whatever you want, you can get.

Every second shop is either a "coffee shop" or a sex shop which sells the most disturbing items you would have ever seen!

Our hotel we were staying at was right on the edge of the Red Light District. Really good location... 5 mins walking distance to the central train station, dam square, shopping and restaurants and ofcourse the red light district. We happened to be staying next door to the Sex Muesem. The shot of Simon above was one of the large statues there. All I can say really is that you have to go and see it!

The only good thing about our hotel was the location. When we arrived we were told very strictly that there was to be no food whatsoever in your rooms??? ummm didn't really understand why until we realised the hotel was infested with mice! So grose! Our room was on the fourth floor which had big old windows half rotten with no fire escape. It's all a part of the european experience really :)

The Heineken Experience

We couldn't imagine anything better than spending our Easter Sunday in Amsterdam at the Heineken Brewery. Three bars along the tour to taste the freshly brewed beer, simulated rides, a dance floor where we could dj.... Heineken have hit the nail on the head when designing this tour!

The Clog Series
