We went to Rome for four nights over Easter and I think we saw as much rain as we have seen in the past year, all in four days!!!

So much to explore in Rome and we only touched the surface, but of course, it was beautiful! Not as warm as I was hoping for though... An average of 10 degrees when we were there...

Looked for you in the crowd of umbrellas as the Pope was preaching to the faithful (easter sunday?)Did you understand him?Probably latin so no-one else did either.
Why was Simon hiding. Thought he might've been mistaken for a christian and be fed to the lions at the colluseum.
That looks like a bottle of Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin goin' down withe the eggs!!!!!

Rome as seen in the rain. Quite an experience. Great shot of the Spanish Steps from above. No shortage of good Italians in Rome for Easter plus a few hangers on in the Basilica?
