The beautiful Creperie where we had dinner on the Saturday night

We caught the Eurostar to Lille for the weekend. Lille is in the North West part of France right on the border of Belgium. Definitely had similarities with Brussels....

We shopped around the christmas markets in the snow, drank lots of lovely Belgium beers and French red wine and ate so much from the Patisseries. Not much touristy stuff which was nice, just got amongst the city with the locals :)

So much yummy food! What picturesque scenery to do ones Christmas shopping in - and even a Magic stall. All this and only a couple of train rides away from Cavendish Road!
