Tokyo, Japan

Our Ryokan where we stayed for the four nights

Simon geared up for his onsen
Can you see me?
Oh my gosh, the biggest electronics shop I have ever seen. Every gimmick you can think of is here in this shop. Simon spent HOURS in here!

Shibuya crossing - the busiest in Japan. It looked this busy every two minutes when the man went green. Not quite sure where all the people came from...
Ahhhh karaoke! £2 for an hour of karaoke in our own little booth, and a free beer chucked in. Couldn't get better!

On our bikes for the day...

Asakusa

My cousin Kev and us out for dinner and sake :-)

Kevin, Nat (Kev's pregnant wife) and me at their apartment in Tokyo.

What a wicked time in Tokyo. We went their for four nights on our way back to kiwi-land. Such a cool place! Last time we were here, we enjoyed it, but saw a completely different side to Tokyo. This time, we tried lots of traditional food, got friendly with the locals at our Ryokan and hired bikes to cruise around the different villages.

We even managed to find our way back to this little massage parlor in Asakusa that we went to last time and remembered how good it was. It was just as good second time round! I think the Japanese girls were fighting over who would do Simon (the BIG European). Poor girl who missed out and had to do me :-)

Obviously a highlight of your round trip to New Zealand. So many beautiful sights to say nothing of the electronics one can enjoy!
