The Arena with all the lights on before everybody arrivedOn Friday we went to see Prince at the new O2 Arena near Greenwich in London. The best venue we have ever seen and so set-up for gigs like this. Prince was amazing and had a few dancers on stage, which were also amazing! He gave out purple glow sticks to everyone in the audience so, when the lights went out the whole arena was lit up with flashing purple sticks... then when he sang Purple Rain, all the lights were Purple and it just looked amazing!!!!
He sang most of the oldies including Purple Rain, When Doves Cry, Cream, Diamonds & Pearls, Raspberry Beret, 1999...
Probably one of the best concerts we have seen, if not the best! Go Prince! Always nice to have an unexpected beauty show up...

What a spectacle! Can't say we could sing along with the songs but perhaps if we heard the music might have an inkling?
