Dublin

Simon with one of his many Guinness' for the weekend
Can you see me? hehe
One for Grandad Lou
Pa pa, we made it to the Jameson's distillery for you!
The Guinness Brewery!
Ummm, tastes good!

All of the different Guinness bottles made over time...

We flew to Dublin on Friday with dirty old Ryan Air and stayed at this beautiful Victorian B&B pub in the heart of Dublin city. We arrived on Friday night and went straight to our bar downstairs for our first of many Guinness'. Sooooo good and we had the excuse of it being good for you. hehe.

We spent Saturday morning at the Jameson's Whiskey distillery where I tried my first whiskey. And ahhhh sorry pa pa, but it's definitely an acquired taste for the mature shall I say... not me. Was interesting to see the process of how it is made and Simon loved the free drinks after the tour.

In the afternoon we went to the Guinness brewery and spent hours looking around, tasting, having a meal at the "Guinness restaurant" and then drinking a few at the bar on the 7th floor overlooking Dublin. Awesome bar!

That guiness and its head looks delicious. Did you get a second feed from your moustache Nat?
Be interesting to try a good Jamesons cause the ones here are a bit harsh. Pleased you know not to touch the amber fluid Nat. You have the ginger ale! Simon knows where its at!
