A dash of Cologne

The amazing Cathedral

Oh yeah, the Kolsch beer!
German sausage with fried potato became a regular

Lindt chocolate factory

Mmmmmm

Who would have thought that Simon could speak German? Well, it just kept coming out once we landed in Cologne and I couldn't believe it. What he learned all those *years* ago, really paid off!

We were pretty stoked with Cologne really. The main attraction was the Lindt chocolate factory and the city's Cathedral, but we were lovin the other attractions that came for free. The famous beer halls in Germany are soooo cool! Just what you imagine Germany to be like. "Mature" German men pouring endless amounts of beer and serving boy-style food. Everyone in Cologne was really helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help us.

The Cathedral was gorgeous! Probably the most amazing Cathedral I have ever seen in my life. We walked 509 steps to the very top and had a pretty cool view over the city.

Definitely recommend Cologne to any travellers out there for a lovely relaxing city break!

As they say "awesome" shots of the Cathedral. What with the boys food beer and chocolate delights sounds like Cologne could be injurious to one's health. The only thing in common with your visit to Cologne and mine to Clyde was the letter at the beginning of the name!!
