The lovely Cotswolds

Our wee village Stow on the Wold

Rambling...

Sausages and mash at the local pub

Our cottage - our very own log fire!

Mr Owl.

Oh yeah!

Staunton Village where we had lunch on Sunday

James, Tracey, Simon and I hired a car and drove out on the A40 on Friday night all the way to the Cotswolds - an area of gorgeous English villages. We hired a beautiful two-bed cottage in Stow on the Wold and managed to get around and see a lot. Tried out the local pub on Friday night, and after a few bottles of red wine we walked all of 10 steps to our cottage. Saturday we went rambling through a few villages, coming home on Saturday night where we cooked up a huge roast and sat in front of the log fire. Proper English style eh!

Sunday started at the local Falconry where we watched a show with Vultures, Owls, Falcons and Eagles... sooo cool! Finishing off the weekend at another beautiful village for a pub lunch :-)

These views of the Cotswolds could be having SOMEONE(?) reaching for their passport and bank balance. How brave of you Nataleigh to hold on to what I presume was a falcon! Simon did you remember your first visit to Stow on the Wold? - probably a big ask.

Your cottage to die for - hard to imagine that people (probably only the rich) still live in such olde worlde places.

Weather looked great as well for the rambling.
