Cambridge

Ummm a Sunday roast :-)
Kings College
For Murray....
Kings College Chapel - very beautiful
Kings College groundsThe punting!!!
Don't know what I was looking like that for...
You see the punters at the bottom of this picture? Well their sticks anyway...Nat in front of Christ College

We caught a train out of Kings Cross on Sunday and headed to Cambridge for the day. So lucky it never rained, although it did look pretty threatening all day...

Our day was filled with looking in the big Colleges and Chapel's, having lunch at one of the oldest pubs in Cambridge, and then eating ice-cream while punting along the river... all pretty relaxing really!

We looked out for Stephen Hawking, but we never saw him :-(

Many thanks for the sundial photo - Murray will be on the lookout for one for our weather set up. Probably not up to the magnificent one at Cambridge - but who knows. Punting is obviously a crowd pleaser judging by the number of punts on the water.

Croucher street has had a makeover and has been renamed Sundial Square!! Cambridge was my fav uni . Would've been great to study there. Was the big chestnut tree still there just outside Kings chapel??They're allowed to have swan to eat for special occassions so long as they get royal permission I think I recall?
